George is a senior level professional with more than 25 years of operational and business development experience, primarily in the healthcare field – in both the provider and supplier segments.

Prior to George’s current role with Signature HealthCARE, George served as a principle and Chief Executive Officer of a physical therapy consultation, education and training company with offices in Louisville, KY and San Antonio, TX, guiding it from start-up through its evolution as the award winning, largest international provider of its specialized services.

George has also served as a principle and the Chief Executive Officer of a Louisville, KY based management / decision support information systems company.  In the health care provider segment, George served as a corporate officer, principle and the Chief Operating Officer of a Dallas, TX based specialty hospital company, leading in this capacity from initial start-up of the organization, to development of multi-state operations, leading to the sale of the organization to a large competitor during a period of industry consolidation.  George has served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of several hospitals, and as a hospital CEO in Los Angeles, CA, Phoenix, AZ and Indianapolis, IN.

George is married, with three children.  He and his family returned to the Louisville area – where he and his wife were raised – in 2001, after a 19 year absence.  George received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Kentucky in 1982 and a Masters of Business Administration degree from DePaul University in 1986.

George is active in his community, participating in leadership and general service roles at his church, with non-profit entities and through appointments to the board of directors of state and local government agencies.
