The Administrator-in-Training Program
Signature HealthCARE is dedicated to hiring and developing the best talent possible to drive our Mission and Vision. We recognize that the Administrator/CEO position is a key component to our success. Our commitment is to cultivate and produce strong leaders that will embody the culture of Signature HealthCARE and impact the landscape of healthcare, forever.
Our Administrator-In-Training (AIT) program is a cohort based program that was established to attract talented individuals with a strong desire to become a licensed nursing home administrator. The program offers gold standard learning around the five Domains of Practice as defined by the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB) in order to exceed the national pass rate. The national nursing home administrator exam is prepared and administered by Professional Examination Service (PES) for the NAB.
How it works
Signature HealthCARE’s Administrator-In-Training (AIT) program is a nine to twelve (9-12) month, fully paid learning experience. The AIT will earn a salary while developing the necessary skills and knowledge needed to become a CEO.
The focus of our program is to provide a comprehensive administrative and clinical experience in a long-term care setting. The AIT will learn the daily operations of each department via hands-on, supervised practice. As part of the program, the AIT is required to take the national and state licensure exams. Internships are completed under the guidance of a licensed and experienced preceptor, with the AIT Advisory Board providing overall direction for the program. The internship site is selected from among our approved locations throughout the states in which we operate.
